Update - Shooting incident at Castletroy, Limerick on the 29/6/15

Gardaí in Limerick have made three further arrests as part of their investigations into a shooting incident in Castletroy, Co. Limerick on the 29th June 2015.

The incident occurred at approximately 6.35am when a 55-year-old male was shot a number of times as he parked his car in the grounds of the University of Limerick.

Two men aged in their 30's were arrested early this morning (17/2/16) in the Limerick area. They are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda Stations. A third man (50's) was also arrested in Limerick shortly before noon. He is detained at Roxoboro Road Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939. 

This brings to 9 the number of people arrested to date.
