Gardaí are seeking witnesses following a robbery at a petrol station shop in Clane Co. Kildare, on Sunday 11th December 2016 at about 8.30pm.
Two men entered the forecourt of the petrol station in a stolen yellow Skoda Citigo car, both men entered the shop. One man stood at the door keeping a look out armed with what appeared to be a knife. A second man went to the counter, threatened two female staff with a hammer and left with a quantity of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
The car used in the incident a 141 D reg Skoda Citigo was stolen on 1st December in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
