Update - Shooting incident on Sheriff Street, Dublin on the 14/4/16

A male aged in his 20s seriously injured during a shooting incident at the junction of Sheriff Street Lower and Oriel Street earlier today has been pronounced dead in hospital.

An examination of the scene is currently underway.
 
Investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.

Gardai in Store Street are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at the Sheriff Street, Oriel Street junction at approximately 12.30pm.

A male described as being in his 20’s received gunshot injuries.  Described as being in a serious condition.
