A 31-year-old male is expected to appear before a sitting of Porlaoise District Court this afternoon (15/4/2016).
He is charged following a Garda investigation into a fatal traffic collision in Co. Offaly on the 29th December 2015.

Tullamore Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision on the Tullamore to Portarlington Road (R420) at Geashill this afternoon (29/12/2015).
The two car collision occured at approximately 13.30hrs. The male driver (19) of one car was killed, with the passenger removed by ambulance to Midlands Regional Hospital with injuries. The male driver of the second car was also removed to hospital injured.
Garda Forensic Collision investigators are at the scene and the coroner has been notified.
The road is currently closed between Geashill and Clonygowan, and local traffic diversions are in place.
