Road reopened - Fatal road traffic collision On the N3, Meath on the 7/4/16

The road has now fully reopened following the earlier fatal road traffic collision.

Gardai in Dunshaughlin, Meath are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N3, Co. Meath on the 7th April 2016

The collision occurred at approximately 4.55pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan rd(six miles from Dunshaughlin) when a car struck a wall. The sole occupant of the car, a male in his 30's was seriously injured and taken to Navan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. 

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene  and there is currently a contra-flow traffic system in operation.
