Paul Quinn Murder Investigation Update

Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Quinn at Tullycorra, Castleblayney on the 20th October, 2007 have arrested a male (early 50s).

He was arrested in Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan this morning (14/4/2016) and is currently detained at Carrickmacross Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

A search operation on lands near Castleblaney has also commenced as part of this phase of the investigation.

No further information is available at this time.
