Drug seizure and arrest in Ballymun, Dublin on the 28/4/16

Following a surveillance operation Gardaí attached to Ballymun Garda Station have seized heroin with an approximate street value (subject to analysis) of €420,000 and arrested a juvenile male.

The seizure took place when the male was stopped and searched at Coultry Park at approx. 3.30pm today 28th April 2016. Gardaí discovered approximately 3kgs of heroin in a rucksack.

The male is currently detained at Ballymun Garda station under Section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
