Shots fired / Man Arrested - Ballyfermot , Dublin 10 May 8th 2015

Gardaí at Ballyfermot in Dublin are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Oranmore Road, Ballyfermot , Dublin 10 this morning ( Friday May 8th 2015).

Three men approached a house on Oranmore Road at approximately 10am. A number of shots are alleged to have been fired at the house. Garda units responded and one man (mid 30’s) was arrested and a firearm recovered at the scene, he is currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act  1939.
Investigations are continuing.
