Gardai are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred outside Kilkee on the Kilrush Road (N67) at approximately 11.45am this morning.
A male motorcyclist in his early 40’s was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a car. He was airlifted to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car was uninjured.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
