Fatal road traffic collision in Ballisadare, Sligo on the 17/3/15

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Lufnadeffa, Ballysadare, Co. Sligo at 12.20 pm on Tuesday 17th March 2015 involving a car and a van.

A passenger in the car, a man in his 80's, was fatally injured in the crash. The driver of the car, a woman in her 80s, and the van driver, a man in his 50s, were removed from the scene by ambulance to Sligo Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

A post mortem examination is expected to take place on the dead man today 18th March.
