Gardaí have charged three men, 18, 32 and 36 years, in connection with a drug seizure that occurred on 4th June 2015 at Chapelizod, Dublin and Straffan, County Kildare. The three men are due to appear before the Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this morning Saturday 6th June 2015 at 10.30am.
The men were arrested on the 4th June 2015 and detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 following the seizure of 2 kilos of Ketamine. A further 17 kilos of the drug was seized during follow up searches. The total value of Ketamine seized in this operation is estimated at €1.3 million.
