Road reopened - Fatal road traffic collision at Kellystown, Wexford on the 12/6/15

Gardaí in Wexford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Kellystown, Drinagh, Co Wexford on the 12th June 2015.

The collision  occurred on the Wexford to Rosslare Road  N25 (just on the outskirts of Wexford Town) at approximately 1.30am. A car collided with a female pedestrian . The female was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity or age of the the deceased has not been positively identified at this stage, her body has been removed to the mortuary at Wexford General Hospital.

The male driver (21 years) the sole occupant was was uninjured in the collision.

The road is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Examination. Local diversions are in place.
