Gardai in Ballybofey are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured on the main Letterkenny to Sligo Road, the N13, this morning, Friday 19th June, 2015 at approximately 7 a.m.
The collision occured in the townland of Trentabouy, Convoy. A female driver (late 20's) was fatally injured when the car she was driving collided with a truck. Her body has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Examination. Local diversions are in place.
