Witness appeal - Serious assault at St James Walk, Dublin 8 on the 13/6/15

Gardai in Kilmainham are investigating a serious assault which occurred on the 13th June 2015 at St James Walk Dublin 8.

On the morning of the 13.06.15 an altercation occurred between two males around the junction of St. James Walk / Reuben Street, Dublin 8. The altercation occurred at approx. 7.50am in the morning and resulted in a male (26 years) suffering life threatening injuries.
 

Gardai and Ambulance personnel responded to the call and the injured man was taken to St. James Hospital where he underwent surgery. He has since been released from hospital.

A male 33years was arrested in connection with the incident and detained at Kilmainham Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended on the 13th June 2015. He was later releaseed without charge. Investigations are ongoing.
