Witness appeal - Murder of Edward Nugent in Walkinstown, Dublin on the 15/2/15

Gardaí investigating the murder of Edward Nugent, which occurred at a house on Harty Avenue, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 on Sunday 15th February 2015, are seeking to trace the movements of a silver coloured Honda Civic motorcar between the hours of 6.30pm and 9.30pm on the evening of Sunday 15th February 2015.

The silver Honda Civic, partial registration 04 D, is a Japanese import with distinctive alloy wheels. It had ‘L’ plates on the passenger side of the front windscreen and on the driver’s side of the rear window. This car was subject to an unauthorised taking from the Kilmainham area early Sunday evening and was later discovered, partially burnt out on Esposito Road / John McCormack Avenue junction, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 at approximately 9.30 pm.

 
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who observed this car between the times mentioned above or who may have information to contact them at Crumlin Garda station on 01 6666200, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
