The seizure, 8 kilos of cannabis herb, was made during the planned search of a premises at Lohunda Downs, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 on Tuesday morning 24th February 2015.

As part of a joint operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin West area Gardaí from the Blanchardstown Drugs Unit, assisted by the Garda National Drugs Unit and Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, seized cannabis herb with an estimated value of €160,000 pending analysis.

These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks. Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities.
