Update - Fatal shooting Incident on Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin on the 30/12/15

Gardai in Cabra can confirm that the man (mid 30s) involved in the shooting incident in the car park at the rear of Comiskey's Pub, Blackhouse Avenue, has passed away.

His body remains at scene and will be removed to the city morgue later tonight and a post mortem is due to take place in the morning, Thursday 31st December, 2015.

The burnt out car was located in a laneway off Regal Park on Blackhorse Avenue, and gardai wish to appeal for witnesses who may have seen anything unusual in the area at the time of the shooting, to contact them at Cabra Garda Station on 01 6667400, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Gardai in Cabra are investigating a shooting incident which occured in the car park at the rear of Comiskey's Pub on Blackhorse Avenue, this evening, Wednesday 30th December 2015.

At approximately 5.45p.m. Gardai were alerted to the incident that a man (early 30s) was shot and seriously injured.

The scene is currently preserved pending a Garda Technical Investigation.

A short time later a car was found burnt out on Blackhorse Avenue, not far from the scene.

Gardai in Cabra are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of the pub between 5.30p.m. and 6 p.m. or anyone who can assist them in relation to the burnt out car on Blackhorse Avenue to contact them on 01 6667400, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 pr any Garda station.
