Fatal Traffic Collision Cherry Orchard, Dublin 25th December 2015

Gardaí in Ballyfermot are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision in Cherry Orchard on the 25th of December 2015.

Shortly before 8am a male aged in his teens was seriously injured when two motorcycles collided on Cherry Orchard Avenue. He was taken by ambulance to St. James’s Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The second motorcyclist, a male aged in his early 20s, was also taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
 

The road is closed to traffic and local diversions are in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested to examine the scene and the Coroner has been notified.
