Witness Appeal - Serious Injury Collision on Ballyowen Road, Lucan on the 17/3/15

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred at Ballyowen Road, Lucan, on the evening of St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 17th March 2015 at approximately 7pm.

The collision involved two cars, a grey coloured Volkswagon Polo and a black coloured Mazda hatchback partial registration 07 LH 2xxx. 

The male driver of the volkswagon polo car (early 70s) suffered serious injuries and was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown. The driver of the second car failed to remain at scene.
