Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault incident in Waterford City on the 15th September 2014.
On Monday, 15th September 2014, at approximately 22.40hrs a 29-year-old male sustained serious head injuries during an incident outside a house on Priory Lawn in the Ballybeg area of Waterford City. He was taken by ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital and later transferred to Cork University Hospital where he is continuing to receive treatment. A technical examination of the scene was carried out. No arrests have been made to date and enquiries are ongoing.
