Male arrested following a serious sexual assault on a female in Dublin on the 11/9/14

Gardai from Kevin Street investigating a serious sexual assault on a female on the evening of the 11th September 2014 in Dublin have arrested a man.

The man in his mid 30's was arrested at 9am this morning in the Dublin area. He was taken to Kevin Street Garda station where he is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended. Investigations are ongoing.
