Fatal road traffic collision at Castlebellingham, Louth on the 12/9/14

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Castlebellingham, Co. Louth which occurred shortly after 2am on Friday 12th September 2014.

A woman in her 20's was fatally injured when the car she was driving crashed on Main Street, Castlebellingham. The woman was alone in the car at the time.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been taken to our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda where a post mortem examination will be carried out.

The road at the scene is closed pending an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
