Drug seizure in Waterford city on the 16/9/14 - male arrested

As a result of an ongoing operation by Waterford District Unit and local Gardai an apartment at Penrose Court, Penrose Lane, Waterford was searched on the evening of the 16th September 2014.

During the course of the search Gardai discovered 5.5 kilos of cannabis herb (subject to analysis) with an approximate street value of €110,000.

 
A male (27yrs) was arrested and is being detained at Waterford Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
