Drug seizure at Portsalon, Donegal on the 4/9/14

As a result of an ongoing operation by Gardai from Milford assisted by Gardai from the Divisional Drug Unit and Crime Unit based in Letterkenny a search was carried out on a house at Maherwarden, Portsalon on the 4th September 2014.

During the course of the search Gardai discovered 321 cannabis plants with an approx stree value of  €128,000 (subject to analysis).
 

A male (28 years) was arrested and is being detained at Letterkenny Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Crimnal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
