Cannabis Seizure - Ballygar Co Galway 5th September 2014

As a result of an ongoing operation by Gardaí from Ballygar and Ballinasloe in Co Galway a search was carried out on a house at Bornacurra, Ballygar, Co Galway this afternoon (5/9/14)

During the course of the search Gardaí discovered a quantity of cannabis plants and cannabis growing paraphernalia with an estimated street value of €200,000 (subject to analysis)

 

Four men were arrested at the scene (27yrs, 31yrs, 34yrs & 52yrs) they are detained at Loughrea and Ballinasloe Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
