Gardaí are investigating a fatal stabbing in Santry this afternoon 17th October 2014.
Gardaí were called to the incident at the car park of an apartment block at Larch Hill, Santry, Dublin 9 at about 3pm and discovered a man in his 20's injured at the scene. The man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A short time later Gardaí arrested a man believed to be in his 20's. He is detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The scene has been preserved for forensic technical examination and the office of the State Pathogolist has been notified.
