Drug seizure and arrests in Dundalk on the 3/10/14

As part of an ongoing operation by Gardai from Dundalk a number of houses were searched on the 3rd October 2014 in Dundalk and a large quantity of cannabis plants and Cannabis herb seized.

A total of 200 cannabis plants were seized with an approximate street value of €160,000(subject to analysis). Approximately €2,000 of cannabis herb(subject to analysis) was also seized.
 
Two males (25 and 27yrs) were arrested and are being detained at Dundalk Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
