Gardaí have arrested a man and seized Cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 (pending analysis) following a search operation in Dublin.
The search was carried out yesterday evening (10/10/2014) at a house in Clondalkin by Gardaí from Ronanastown and is part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in west Dublin. A man aged in his 40s was arrested at the scene. Weighing scales, bagging equipment and a number of other items were also seized during the operation.
The man is currently detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. He can be detained for up to 7 days.
