Serious injury road traffic collision in Dublin on the 17/11/14

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a traffic collision in Dublin on the 17th November 2014.

At approximately 21.40hrs a 55-year-old female cyclist was seriously injured when she was struck by a bus. The collision occurred on the Burlington Road. She was taken from the scene by ambulance to St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Her condition is understood to be serious. The scene of the incident was examined by Garda forensic collision investigators. Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
