Fatal road traffic collision in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 on the 14/11/14

Gardaí at Donnybrook are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in which a female pedestrian in her mid 80's has been fatally injured.

The incident occured when the woman was struck by a truck at approx 10am  at the junction of Ranelagh Road and Chelmsford Close at approx 10am this morning Friday 14th of November 2014.

The woman has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital for a post mortem. Forensic Collision Investigators are presently at the scene.
