Drug Seizure and arrest in Ballycotton, Cork on the 26/11/14

As part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Cork area gardaí have seized drugs and arrested a male.

Gardai from Midleton carried out a planned search of a house at Ballycotton, Midleton yesterday at approximately 3.30pm. During the search cannabis herb (pending analysis) was seized with an estimates street value of up to €60,000. A male in his 40’s was arrested and is currently detained at Midleton Garda Station under the provisions of Section  4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
