Male arrested - Incident in Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin on the 9/6/14

Gardai in Dun Laoghaire investigating the discharge of a firearm in a public house in Sallynoggin on Monday, the 9th June 2014 have arrested a male in his 30's in connection with the incident.

The male was arrested in Dublin this evening the 11th June 2014. He is being detained at Dun Laoghaire Garda station under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident where a firearm was discharged in a public house in Sallynoggin this morning Monday, 9th June 2014.
At approximately 12.50a.m. this morning a man (mid 30s) discharged a firearm in the public house and again in the car park. One man, 45 years, was brought to Saint Vincent's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardai wish to speak with any taxi driver who may have picked up a lone male on Sallynoggin Road at approximately 1a.m. and drove in the direction of Rochestown Avenue.
