Gardai in Ennistymon are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Lisdoonvarna on the 5th June 2014.
The collision between two motorcyclists occurred at approximately 6.45pm about 1/2 a mile outside Lisdoonvarna on the Ennistymon Road. Both motorcyclists were fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene, one remains at the scene the other has been taken to the mortuary in Limerick. A female pillion passenger was taken to Galway University Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The road has been closed for a Forensic Collision Examination and diversions are in place.
