A 37-year-old male is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (C.C.J. 2) at 4.30 pm today (2/6/2014) charged in connection with this incident.

Gardaí have seized a firearm and arrested two people following a planned search in Tallaght yesterday.
At approximately 4pm yesterday gardaí from Tallaght carried out a search of a house in Rossfield Park, Tallaght. During the search a shotgun and ammunition were discovered.
A woman in her 30’s was arrested at the scene. She was detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda Station and was released without charge late last night. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí arrested a second person, a male in his 30’s, last night in the Tallaght area and he is currently detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda Station.
