As part of ongoing investigations into the activities of dissident republicans in the Dublin area gardai have arrested three males and recovered property.
Gardai from the Special Detective Unit assisted by Gardai from the Crime and Security section Garda Headquarters carried out a planned operation this morning in the Lucan area.
During the course of the operation three males (20’s, 30’s and 40’s) were arrested and a significant quantity of electronic equipment recovered.
The three males are currently detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Lucan (two) and Clondalkin (one) Garda Stations.
