Fatal road traffic collision at Oola, Limerick on the 22/7/14

Gardai in Bruff are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occured on the R507 between Doon and Oola, Co Limerick on the 22nd July 2014.

The collision between a quad bike and a tractor occurred at approximately 1.45pm on the R507 Oola to Doon Road (approximately 3 miles from Oola). The driver of the Quad bike a male 17 years was seriously injured in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to Mid Western Hospital in Limerick. The tractor driver was uninjured in the collision.

The road has been closed for a Forensic Collision examination and diversions in place.
