Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a traffic collision this morning (20/1/2014) in Co. Roscommon.
At approximately 9 a.m. two adults and three children were injured in a two car collision on the N5 at Currinah, Ballaghderreen. They were taken by ambulance to Mayo General Hospital. One of the children, a 2-year-old boy, has since been transferred to Temple St. Hospital with serious injuries. The injuries of the others involved are described as minor.
Forensic collision investigators have examined the scene and the road has since reopened to traffic.
