Gardaí targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Tallaght area have seized a quantity of drugs and ammunition and have arrested a male and a female.
As part of a planned operation Gardaí from Tallaght Garda station searched a house in West Tallaght at approximately 8:50pm yesterday evening, the 7th January 2014.
During the search a quantity of cocaine and heroin, with a combined estimated street value of €90,000 (pending analysis) along with a quantity of ammunition was seized.
A male and a female, both aged in their early 30s were arrested and are currently being detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
