Gardai are investigating as murder the death of 31-year-old Sonia Blount from Tallaght. Her body was discovered at the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght on the 16th February 2014.
Preliminary results of a post mortem examination have been furnished to investigating Gardai details of which are not being released for operational reasons.
A male aged in his 20s arrested in connection with the investigation remains in custody at Tallaght Garda Station.

Gardaí investigating the discovery of the body of a woman in her 30s, at the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght, Dublin 24 have arrested a man in his late 20s. The man was arrested this evening and is detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The body was discovered at about 3.30 pm this afternoon 16th February 2014. The body of the woman has been removed to the morgue at Tallaght Hospital. A post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.
