House fire and arrests Limerick 1st February 2014

Gardai have arrested two males following a fire at a house in Limerick. At approximately 2 a.m. Gardai and Fire Services attended a house fire on the South Circular Road. The house was extensively damaged before the fire was brought under control. No one was in the house at the time.

Two males, aged in their late teens, were arrested by Gardai near to the scene a short time later. They are currently detained at Roxoboro Road Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The scene is preserved pending a technical and forensic examination.
