Witness Appeal Shooting incident Mount Street Lower 30th August 2014

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident which occurred in a public house on Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2, on Saturday 30th August 2014 at approximately 10pm are appealing for witnesses.

Two men, not better described, entered the premises. A number of shots were discharged at a group of people who were in the pub, causing non life threatening injuries to two males, 19 & 20 years, both were taken to Saint Vincent’s Hospital.

The gunmen left the scene in a dark coloured car, believed to have been driven by a third male, in the direction of Dublin 4.

The scene is currently preserved for technical examination. Investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses particularly those who may have been inside or in the vicinity of the pub/Mount Street Lower  or anyone with information regarding the car involved to contact them at Pearse Street Garda station 01 6669000, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
