Two arrests following Robbery at Rathmines, Dublin on the 12/9/13

Two men in their 30's are in custody following an attempted robbery at a shop on Lower Rathmines Road in Dublin on 12th September 2013.

Two masked men entered the shop about 6.20 pm one was armed with a screwdriver and they demanded cash from the shop assistant. A struggle took place and the two men fled fled empty handed.


In a follow-up search Gardaí arrested two men in a house on Grove Park. The men are detained at Rathmines Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. The investigation in ongoing.
