Drug seizure Dublin Airport 20th September 2013

Gardai from the Garda National Drugs Unit along with Officers from Revenue Customs Service have seized Cocaine with an estimated street value of €140,000 (pending analysis).

The discovery was made during a search operation at Dublin Airport yesterday evening (20/9/2013).

A female in aged in her 30s (Spanish National) was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996, at Clondalkin Garda Station. (She can be detained for up to 7 days)

The investigation is ongoing and updates will follow.
