Discovery of human remains in Co. Dublin on the 13/9/13

Gardai are investigating the discovery of human skeletal remains at Kilakee Mountain, Rathfarnham, on the 13th September 2013.

The discovery was made by a member of the public while out walking at approximately 7.30 p.m. yesterday evening (13/9/2013). The scene is preserved for a technical examination and the Deputy State Pathologist Dr. Curtis is expected to attend the scene later today. The services of a forensic anthropologist have also been requested.

No further information is available pending the completion of a post-mortem examination
