Court Appearance - Kildare Drug Seizure

Two men arrested following a seach operation at Johnstownbridge, Co. Kildare on the 19th October, are due before a special sitting of Kilcock District Court this afternoon 20th October at 3.00pm.

In an intelligence lead operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs detectives from the Garda National Drug Unit searched a house at Johnstownbridge.Two males, 40 and 53 years of age, were arrested at the scene and were detained at Leixlip Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
