Three pipe bombs discovered in Limerick on the 7/11/13

Gardaí from Roxboro Road are investigating the discovery of a number of suspect devices and a small amount of ammunition following the search of an unoccupied house at Ballysheedy East in Limerick at 2.45am on the 7th November 2013.

The three devices and shotgun cartridges were discovered during a planned search and an Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team where requested in order to make the devices safe.  The area is sealed off for a forensic technical examination and the devices have been removed for technical and ballistics tests.
