Fatal road traffic collision at Barna, Galway on the 17/11/13

Gardai at Salthill are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occured at Barna at approx 5.40am this morning the 17th November, 2013.

The collision occured when the car struck a traffic light in the village of Barna. The deceased driver (mid 60s) was removed to University College Hospital Galway for a post mortem examination.

The road was closed for forensic collision investigators but has now re-opened.
