Armed robbery Aungier Street, Dublin on the 25/11/13

Gardai at Pearse Street are appealing for information following an armed robbery on Aungier Street, Dublin, this evening (25/11/13).

At approximately 5 p.m. two males carrying a firearm entered a Jewellery Shop on Aungier Street.  They threatened staff before making off with a quantity of jewellery which included 3 display trays containing gold rings.
 

The raiders made their escape in a grey Opel Astra which they abandoned a short distance away on Aungier Lane.

 
Investigating gardai are appealing for witnesses and have issued descriptions of the males involved:


1 - Tall (well over 6ft), wearing a blue balaclava, a sleeveless yellow high vis jacket, a blue hooded top, jeans and wearing runners.


2 – Smaller in height 5'10 - 6ft, wearing jeans, blue top, a sleeveless yellow high vis jacket and blue hard hat.


Both are thought to aged in their late 20s and early 30s.
 
 
Gardai are also seeking information on a grey Opel Astra, partial registration 07–C, used in the raid. This vehicle was taken during a burglary on the night of the 9th November in the Harold’s Cross area.
