Witnesses sought - Fatal roaf traffic collision in Ennis, Clare on the 15/5/13

Gardaí are investigating what they believe to be a fatal hit and run traffic collision following the discovery of a body of a man at Tobarteascain, Ennis, Co. Clare at shortly after 10pm on the 15th of May 2013.

The man, who is believed to be in his late twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene. The area remains sealed off pending an examination by forensic collision investigators and the man’s body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the State Pathologist Dr Cassidy.


Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them  Anyone who was in the Tobarteascain area of Ennis between 9.30 pm and 10.30 pm yesterday evening should contact or anyone with any information about the incident should contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
