Witness appeal - Sudden death in Dublin on the 8/7/12

Gardai in Blanchardstown investigating the sudden death of a 21year old male on the 8th July 2012, are appealing for a taxi driver who gave the deceased and two male pasengers a lift home on the 8th July 2012.

The deceased and his 2 colleagues had attended the Swedish House Mafia Concert in the Phoenix Park on the 7th July 2012.  When the concert had finished they left the Phoenix Park through the Ashtown Gate.  They proceeded to the Navan Road where the tried to hail a taxi for a period of time (sometime between 11.30pm on the 7th and 1.30am on the 8th).

We believe the location they were hailing the taxi was the Dublin city side of the Ashtown roundabout.  They eventually hailed a taxi who brought them to the Rosse Court area of Lucan.  The deceased then complained of being ill, an ambulance was called and he was taken to James Connolly Hospital where he died a short time later.

We are appealing for the driver of the taxi, who picked up the 3 men, to contact Blanchardstown Garda station on 01-6667000 to help assist with the investigation.
